levelyouwillnotnoticeanysubstantialdecreaseinyourheat,althoughmoregasiscombustingwithintheburners
duetolessoxygen.Above4000feet,youmayexperiencealittlelongercookingtimeonyourgrillthanyouwould
experience at sea level. But again, this is just due to the air/fuel mixture taking place within the burners. If any

GasConversions–NaturalGasandPropane
Coyotegrillsareabletobeconvertedbutyoumustobtainthecorrectconversionkitand wealwayrsrecommend
that any gas appliance conversion should always be performed by a Licensed Plumber or a certified Installer.
ConversionkitsaresoldforCoyotegrillsandcanbepurchasedthroughyourdealer,orCoyote’sCustomerService
Department.AnyotherkitororificesusedthatarenotofCoyotebrand,willautomatic allyvoidanywarrantyonthe
unit.Furthermore,itisimportanttounderstandthatwhereeverthereisaburner,thereisanorificethatwillneed
tobe changed(donotforgettherotisserieorsearburner).
ThestepsforconvertingyourCoyotegrillsmainandsearburnersare:
1. Pullgrilloutofislandorcart.
2. RemoveDripPanandCookingGrates
3. Unscrewboltconnectingthemanifoldpi peto thegrillbody, located atthebacksideoftheg rill.
4. Unscrewthe4boltsholdi ngthefaceplateto thebo dy(onthefrontedgewhereyourcookinggratesits)
5. Unscrewthe2bolts(oneachside)ofthemanifoldandfaceplateassembly,thatholdsthisentireassembly
tothe bo dyofthegrill.
6. Disconnectallwiresandflexlines,fromth evalvesandigni terassemblywhilepayingcloseattentiontotheir
originallocati on.
7. Slideentirecontrolpanelandvalveassemblyoutfromthegrillbod y.
8. Flipcon trolpaneloveronitsside,so you haveeasyaccess tothevalves.
9. SearBurnerGr illsOnly–Removecen terknob,unscrewtopandbo ttomscrewsonly.
a. Thesafetyvalvethatcontrolsthethermocoupleonyoursearburnermustbecompletelychanged.
Youcanno tchangeonlythe orifice.
10. SearBurnerGrillsOnly–Unscrewbasebracket, holdcentervalvetogasmanifoldpipeandremovevalve
11. SearBurnerGrillsOnly–InstallnewSafetyValveinthecorrectgastypeandfollowth eremoval instructions
inreverse.
12. Oncethepane lisflippedover,youwillseetheorificeattheendofthevalve.Withawrenchremovethe
orificefromthevalveandinstallthenewgasorifice,
13. Re‐assembleinreverseandtestallconnectionsagainwi thasoapywatersolutiontoensurenoleaks.

1. Removeyourentirerotisserieassembly
2. Removethebackpanelthatcoversyourrearrotisserieburner
a. With thehoo dopen,remo vethe4screwsontopof thispanel
b. Withthehoo dclosed,removethe4screwsonthe backofthispanel
c. Withthehoodclosed,lookunderneaththissamebackpanelandyouwillsee4‐5bolts(depending
onyourgrill),theseonlyneedtobeloosened
3. Next,pullth eentirepanel(starti ngfromtheback)outfromthe grill
a. Itisdesignedtofittight,soyoumayneedaflatheadscrewdrivertopopthestainlessawayfromthe
body
4. Next,youwillseethegasline,br asselbowandorifice
5. Useawrenchtore movetheorificeandinstallthene wone
6. Re‐assembleinreversean dcheckyourbackburnertoensureproper ignitionandburning
