  There are several reasons why your Craftsman Lawn Mower engine might fail to start: * The blade control may be disengaged. Ensure it is engaged. * The spark plug boot might be disconnected. Connect the wire to the spark plug boot. * The fuel tank could be empty or contain stale fuel. Refill with clean, fresh gasoline. * The engine may not be primed (if equipped with a primer). Prime the engine as instructed. * The spark plug might be faulty. Clean, adjust the gap, or replace it. * The engine could be flooded. Wait a few minutes before attempting to restart. * The fuel line may be blocked. Contact your Sears Parts & Repair Center to have the fuel line cleaned.
