TIRES
• Maintainproper air pressurein all tires
(Seesidesof tirefor properPSI).
• Keeptiresfree of gasoline,oil, or insect
controlchemicalswhichcanharmrubber.
• Avoid stumps,stones,deep ruts,sharp
objectsandotherhazardsthatmaycause
tire damage.
NOTE;To seal tire puncturesand prevent
flattires dueto slowleaks,tire sealantmay
be purchasedfromyourlocal partsdealer.

corrosion°
OPERATORPRESENCESYSTEMAND
REVERSEOPERATIONSYSTEM(ROS)
Be sure operator presenceand reverse
operationsystemsareworkingproperly, If
yourtractordoesnotfunctionas described,
repairthe problemimmediately.
• The engine shouldnot start unlessthe
brakepedal is fully depressed,and the
attachmentclutchcontrolis inthe disen-
gagedposition.
CHECK OPERATOR PRESENCE
SYSTEM
• Whentheengineis running,anyattempt
bythe operatorto leavethe seatwithout
firstsettingtheparkingbrakeshouldshut
offthe engine.
• Whenthe engineis runningand the at-
tachmentclutchisengaged,anyattempt
bythe operatorto leavethe seatshould
shut offthe engine.
• Theattachmentclutchshouldneveroper-
ateunlessthe operatoris inthe seat.
CHECK REVERSEOPERATION(ROS)
SYSTEM
, Whentheengineisrunningwiththeignition
switchintheengine"ON"positionandthe
attachmentclutchisengaged,anyattempt
bythe operatortogo intoreverseshould
shutoffthe engine.

(Normal Operating)
• When the engine is running with the ignition
switch in the ROS "ON" position and the
attachment clutch is engaged, any attempt
by the operator to shift into reverse should
NOT shut off the engine.
BLADE CARE
For best results mower blades must be kept
arp. Replace bent or damaged blades.
CAUTION: Use only a replacement
blade approved by the manufacturer of your
tractor. Using a blade not approved by the
manufacturer of your tractor is hazardous,
could damage your tractor and void your
warranty°
BLADE REMOVAL
1. Raise mower to highest position to alIow
access to blades.
NOTE: Protect your hands with gloves
and/or wrap blade with heavy cloth.
2. Remove blade bolt by turning counter-
clockwise°
3. Install new blade with stamped "THIS
SIDE UP" facing deck and mandrel
assembly.
IMPORTANT: To ensure proper assembly,
center hole in blade must align with star
on mandrel assembly.
4. Install and tighten blade bolt securely
(45-55 FL Lbs. torque).
