Why is my Craftsman Pressure Washer pump not producing pressure?
    • W
      wyattjosephAug 12, 2025
The Craftsman Pressure Washer pump may fail to produce pressure for several reasons: * The low-pressure selector nozzle might be installed. Replace it with a high-pressure selector nozzle. * The water inlet could be blocked. Clear the inlet. * There might be an inadequate water supply. Ensure adequate water flow. * The inlet hose could be kinked or leaking. Straighten the hose or patch the leak. * The inlet hose screen might be clogged. Check and clean the screen. * The water supply temperature may be over 100°F. Provide a cooler water supply. * The high-pressure hose or spray gun could be leaking. Replace the faulty component. * The selector nozzle may be obstructed. Clean the selector nozzle. * The pump itself might be faulty. Contact a Sears service facility.

      Jennifer TuckerAug 21, 2025
If your Craftsman Pressure Washer engine won't start, lacks power, runs roughly, or shuts down, consider these potential causes: 1. The engine rocker switch may be in the OFF (0) position. Set it to the ON (I) position. 2. The oil level might be low. Fill the crankcase to the proper level. 3. The air cleaner could be dirty. Clean or replace it. 4. The fuel tank may be empty. Fill it with fuel. 5. The fuel could be stale. Drain the tank and fill it with fresh fuel. 6. The spark plug wire might not be connected. Connect it to the spark plug. 7. The spark plug could be bad. Replace it. 8. There might be water in the fuel. Drain the tank and fill it with fresh fuel. 9. The fuel mixture may be excessively rich. Contact a local service facility.
