Why does my Craftsman 580.754882 Pressure Washer pump have low pressure?
    • C
      Cheryl MannAug 11, 2025
Several factors can cause low pressure in your Craftsman Pressure Washer pump. It could be due to a low-pressure selector nozzle being installed—try replacing it with a high-pressure nozzle. Other causes include a blocked water inlet (clear it), inadequate water supply (provide adequate flow), a kinked or leaking inlet hose (straighten or patch it), a clogged inlet hose screen (check and clean it), water supply exceeding 100°F (use cooler water), a blocked or leaking high-pressure hose (clear any blockages), a leaking spray gun (replace it), or an obstructed selector nozzle (clean it).

How to fix a Craftsman Pressure Washer that won't start?
    • W
      William GatesAug 21, 2025
If your Craftsman Pressure Washer engine won't start, starts and runs rough, or shuts down, consider these potential fixes: Ensure the engine rocker switch is in the ON (I) position. Check and fill the crankcase to the proper oil level. Clean or replace the air cleaner. Refill the fuel tank with fresh fuel, especially if the existing fuel is stale or contains water. Ensure the spark plug wire is securely connected to the spark plug, and replace the spark plug if it's bad.

What to do if detergent isn't mixing in my Craftsman Pressure Washer?
    • W
      Whitney KingAug 30, 2025
If the detergent isn't mixing with the spray in your Craftsman Pressure Washer, make sure the detergent siphoning tube is fully submerged in the detergent. Also, check the tube for clogs or cracks and clean or replace it as necessary. Ensure that you've selected the soap spray pattern nozzle on the selector nozzle. Finally, check if the detergent siphoning check ball is stuck and free it.
