mainjet for mixture control. If your engine
does not operate properlydue to sus-
pected carburetor problems, take your
lawn mower to an authorized service
center for repair or adjustment.
ENGINE SPEED
Your engine speed has been factory set.
Do not attempt to increase engine speed
or it may result inpersonal injury. If you
believe that the engine is running too fast
or too slow, take your lawn mower to an
authorized service center for repair and
adjustment.
Immediatelyprepareyourlawn mowerfor
storageat theend of the season orifthe unit
willnotbe usedfor30 days or more.
LAWN MOWER
When lawn mower isto bestored for a period
of time, cleanit thoroughly, remove alldirt,
grease,leaves, etc.Store in a dean, dryarea.
• Clean entirelawn mower (See"CLEANING"
in the Maintenance section ofthis manual).
• Lubricateas shown in the Maintenance
section ofthis manual.
• Besure that all nuts, bo_, screws, and pins
are securelyfastened. Inspect moving
partsfor damage, breakage andwear.
Replace ifnecessary.
• Touch up all rustedor chipped paint
surfaces; sand lightlybeforepainting.
HANDLE
Youcanfold your lawn mower handlefor
storage.
• Squeeze thebottomends ofthelower
handletoward each other un'dlthelower
handleclears the handle bracket,then
move handle forward.
• Loosen upper handle mounting bolts
enough to allow upper handleto befolded
back.
IMPORTANT: When foldingthe handle
forstorage ortransportation, be sureto
foldthe handleas shown or you may
damage thecontrolcables.
• When settingupyourhandlefromthe
storageposillon,thelowerhandlewill
automaticallylockintothe mowingpos'_on.
