The engine speed was set at the factory for optimum performance. Speed is not adjustable.
Federal regulations require an engine control to be installed on this lawn mower.
Adjust cutting height to suit your requirements. Medium position is best for most lawns.
Your lawn mower is shipped without oil in the engine.
Fill fuel tank. Use fresh, clean, regular unleaded gasoline with a minimum of 87 octane.
To start a cold engine, push primer three (3) times before trying to start.
Fill in dates as you complete regular service.
Check engine oil level. Check for loose fasteners.

Your engine will not run properly and may be damaged by using a dirty air filter.
