ASSEMBLY

OPERATION

Control Panel Overview

SPEED CONTROL LEVER

PARKING BRAKE

Set by depressing clutch pedal, moving speed lever down; release by lifting pedal.

Controls engine speed and choke; must be in FAST for deck engagement.

IGNITION SWITCH

Used to start engine by turning clockwise, and stop by turning counterclockwise.

STARTING THE ENGINE

CLUTCH-BRAKE PEDAL

Depress to slow down or stop; must be depressed to start the engine.

Oil

Check oil level before each use; add oil as needed to prevent engine damage.

Gasoline

Use clean, fresh unleaded gasoline; do not overfill fuel tank.

SAFETY INTERLOCK SYSTEM

Prevents starting unless parking brake is set and PTO is off. Shuts off engine if operator leaves seat.

Select deck height by placing deck lift lever in desired notch.
