What to do if my Craftsman C950-52060-1 Snow Blower engine does not start?
    • Q
      qjohnsonAug 1, 2025
If the Craftsman Snow Blower engine doesn't start, ensure the key is in the ON position. Also, try pressing the primer button twice. If the engine is frozen, put the snowthrower in a heated garage to unfreeze it. Check if the fuel tank is empty and fill it if needed. For a cold engine, turn the choke to the closed position, then press the primer and start the engine. Alternatively, turn the choke to the open position and crank the engine repeatedly. Ensure the spark plug wire is connected, or replace the spark plug if there's no spark. If there's water or old fuel in the tank, drain it and refill with fresh fuel. For electric start models, ensure the cord is plugged in or replace the defective cord, and reset the circuit breaker if it has tripped.
