RCA INPUT CONNECTIONS
CRESCENDO EVOLUTION SEVEN 7A6 amplifier only accepts low level output from Head Unit
or preamplifier or other signal processor. This low level output is generally transmitted
through un-balance cable with RCA terminals, therefore named RCA cable. RCA cable with
interlocking jack like most of WBT’s are more desired. Other jack made with precision like
Harmonic Harmony is also acceptable.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
User should not connect or disconnect RCA input when the amplifier is
running.
POWER CONNECTIONS
High quality power cable connection will drive CRESCENDO EVOLUTION SEVEN 7A6 amplifier
to its maximum performance.
Ground cable or negative power cable is as important as positive power cable therefore the
size must be the same.
Recommended power cable size is 4 AWG for CRESCENDO EVOLUTION ONE 1A4. This is the
maximum size that can be accepted by CRESCENDO EVOLUTION SEVEN 7A6 amplifier.
Positive power cable should be FUSED maximum 40 cm after the main battery
(look at Figure 2). If user uses additional battery, it needs to be fused 40 cm before the
battery and it should not be placed farther than 40 cm from the amplifier (look at Figure 3).
Otherwise, it needs to be fused maximum 40 cm after the battery (look at Figure 4).
The size of the fuse is maximum 100 Amperes for 4 AWG cable.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Positive power cable should be connected to the battery only if all
installation is finished.
SPEAKER CABLE CONNECTIONS
We recommend between 18 to 12 AWG speaker cable size for CRESCENDO EVOLUTION
SEVEN 7A6. Maximum speaker cable size for CRESCENDO EVOLUTION SEVEN 7A6 is 12 AWG.
