TROUBLESHOOTING
Check ground wiring at the amplifier and at the
battery.
b. Check battery condition and battery wiring.
c. Check all fuses.
d. If the ‘Fault Indicator LED’ is flashing, refer to the
next troubleshooting guide
Check for short circuit on speaker leads.
b. Make sure that speaker load is not below
amplifier minimum load (4 Ohm bridged for
CRESCENDO EVOLUTION SEVEN 7A6).
c. If LED still flashes when speaker is not connected,
then the amplifier needs to be repaired
Check RCA output of the sourc
setting at the amplifier.
b. Check RCA cables.
c. Check speaker cables and termination.
b. Check the crossover settings.
Make sure RCA cable is not shorted to the
Ground or body of the amplifier.
b. Check the Grounding of amplifier and source
unit.
Make sure that gain control is properly adjust
to match signal output level of the source unit.
Tips: do not set the gain control higher than it
should be.
b. Check all frequency settings on the crossover
section.
c. Check for short from the speaker leads to the car
body.
Amplifier builds a lot of heat
Make sure that speaker load is not below
amplifier minimum load (4 Ohm bridged for
CRESCENDO EVOLUTION SEVEN 7A6).
b. Make sure that amplifier have a good air
circulation. Add an external cooling fan if
necessary.
