Make sure your Rice Cooker is switched off and unplugged from the mains supply socket
before cleaning. Never immerse the cooker body, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
BeforeusingyourRiceCookerforthefirsttime,washtheglasslid,innerbowl,measuringcupandstirringpaddleinwarm,
soapywater.Rinseanddrythoroughly.Donotuseharshabrasives,chemicalsorovencleaners.Usingadampclothor
sponge,wipetheexteriorandinteriorofthecookerbody.Useamilddetergentsolution.Drythoroughly.
POSITIONING
PositionyourRiceCookeronadry,flat,secure,heatresistantsurfaceclosetoamainssupplysocket.Whenconnected,
ensurethatthepowercorddoesnotoverhangtheworksurfaceorispositionedwhereitmightbecaughtaccidentally.
Leaveaclearspaceofatleast100mm(4”)allaroundtheunitandkeepitasfarbackfromtheedgeoftheworksurfaceas
possible.
Donotpositiontheunitunderneathanythingsuchasashelforcupboard,andplaceawayfromcurtains,wallcoverings,or
otherflammablematerialsandnevercover.Apartfromthepossibleriskoffire,thesteamgivenoffbythecookingprocess
maymarkordamageanythingabovethecooker.ProvideadequateventilationwhenusingyourRiceCooker.
