Installing the Tailgate Handle

Step 1: Remove Tailgate Cover

Lower tailgate, remove cover using T-30 torx bit and specific bolts.

Step 2: Remove Tailgate Handle

Access handle backside, remove nuts and release studs to remove the factory handle.

Step 3: Set Up New Handle

Prepare new handle, attach lock cylinder, and insert camera through the hole.

Step 4: Re-Install New Tailgate Handle

Re-assemble new handle, routing wiring towards the bottom of the tailgate.

Step 5: Route Video and Power Cables

Route cables to radio location, connecting RED wire to REVERSE and BLACK to ground.
