5.3.1. Front panel interfaces
This section describes the function of the interfaces on the CPA289C helium compressor package.
1. Low Pressure Gauge
The pressure of the helium gas being returned to the helium compressor package from the cold
head.
2. High Pressure Gauge
The pressure of the helium gas being sent to the cold head from the helium compressor
package.
3. Low Pressure Aeroquip
Flex line connection for gas returning from the cold head to the suction side of the helium
compressor package.
4. High Pressure Aeroquip
Flex line connection for gas going to the cold head from the discharge side of the helium
compressor package.
5. Service Valve
Regulates the gas flow through the service access Aeroquip.
6. Service Access
Helium compressor package connection used to add or remove helium.
7. Helium Compressor Package ON Button
A mechanical button used to start the system.
8. Helium Compressor Package OFF Button
A mechanical button used to stop the system.
