HOOD
AND
SIDE
PANELS
The
tractor
hood
is
arranged
to
swing
up
and
forward
for
easy
access
to
the
engine
compartment.
(See
Fig¬
ure
12.)
Whenever
engine
maintenance
is
required,
the
side
panels
can
be
removed.

Panel
(One
On
Each
Side)

Hood
WARNING
If
engine
is
hot,
use
caution
not
to
burn
your¬
self
when
removing
the
side
panels.
To
remove
either
right
or
left
side
panel,
proceed
as
follows:
Engage
the
brake
lock
and
raise
the
lift
han¬
dle.
Raise
the
hood.
Refer
to
Figure
13
and
at
rear
of
side
panel
remove
wing
nut
and
flat
washer.
Remove
front
snaps
by
applying
pressure
to
side
of
grille
and
gently
pulling
on
side
panel
until
snaps
pop
out
of
grille
side
flange.

^NOTE
Be
sure
both
top
and
bottom
snaps
have
popped
out.
