      joshua08Aug 23, 2025
If your Cub Cadet Snow Blower is not throwing snow, the chute assembly may be clogged. Stop the engine immediately, disconnect the spark plug wire, and then clean the chute assembly and the inside of the auger housing using a clean-out tool or a stick. Also, there might be a foreign object lodged in the auger. In this case, stop the engine immediately and disconnect the spark plug wire. Remove the object from the auger with a clean-out tool or a stick. Also, check the shear pins; if sheared, replace them with new ones.

Why is my Cub Cadet Snow Blower engine running rough?
    • M
      Mr. Dennis MaysAug 28, 2025
If your Cub Cadet Snow Blower engine is running erratically, first ensure the choke lever is in the RUN position. Stale fuel can also cause this issue, so fill the tank with clean, fresh gasoline. Additionally, water or dirt in the fuel system might be the problem; drain the fuel tank and refill with fresh fuel. If the issue persists, the carburetor may be out of adjustment or the engine may be over-governed, and you should contact an authorized Service Center.
