Drift Cutters
Drift cutters should be used when operating the snow
thrower in heavy drift conditions.
• The drift cutters are assembled to the auger housing
inverted. See Figure 8.
• Remove the carriage bolts by unthreading the hex
nuts which secure them, and reinstall the drift cutters
facing forward before operating the snow thrower.
Refer to Figure 9.
• Secure to the auger housing with carriage bolts and
hex nuts previously removed. See Figure 10.
