Backfilling
Approach the pile with a flat bucket. Do not use
thebucketinthedumppositionforbulldozing.This
method will impose severe shock loadings on the
dump linkage, the tilt cylinder, and the tractor. Refer to
Figure 29.

pass wastes time.
• Operateatrightanglestotheditch.Takeasbig
a bite as the tractor can handle without lugging
down.
• Leavedirtwhichdriftsoverthesideofthebucket
for final clean-up.

slope.

Handling Objects
