ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING
For safety reasons, the operator
must read the sections of this
Owner’s Manual entitled
"GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS",
"GENERAL POWER TOOL
SAFETY WARNINGS", "SPECIFIC
SAFETY RULES", "POWER CELL
& CHARGER SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS" and
"SYMBOLS" before using this
GasLess
TM
trimmer.
Verify the following every time
the GasLess
TM
trimmer is used:
1. Safety glasses, and all
required safety clothing are
being worn.
2. Appropriate length of trimmer
line is exposed beyond the
bump head eyelets.
3. The area to be trimmed is
cleared of all debris.
4. Bystanders are at least 50' (15
m) away from the trimming
area.
Failure to observe these safety
rules will significantly increase
the risk of injury.
WARNING
OPERATING POSITION
WARNING: Never operate the
trimmer with one hand. Always hold the
trimmer with one hand on the forward
handle and the other hand on the rear
handle to operate the switches. Operate
the trimmer below waist height at all
times. Always wear appropriate
personal protective equipment. Never
operate the trimmer on its edge while
trimming grass. The trimming line
should always be near and parallel to
the ground to avoid scalping and
throwing debris.
