ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING
STARTING INSTRUCTIONS
To prevent the motor from starting
accidentally, the lock-off button and
throttle control must both be engaged
to start the unit.
1. Install the power cell. Refer to
Installing the Power Cell.
2. Push the lock-off button (2) into the
throttle control (1) and hold it in
place (Fig. 3).
3. While continuing to hold the lock-off
button, squeeze and hold the throttle
control to start the unit (Fig. 3).
4. Continue to squeeze the throttle
control for operation.
STOPPING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Release the throttle control (1) and
wait for all moving parts to come to
a complete stop (Fig. 3).
USING THE POWER CONTROL
BUTTON
The power control button (1) allows the
operator to switch between Boost (2)
and Eco (3) modes, as needed (Fig. 4):
Boost mode provides maximum
power for tough jobs.
Eco mode conserves energy for
maximum run time. Eco mode is
appropriate for most jobs.
Push the power control button forward
for Boost mode (Fig. 4). Push the power
control button back to return to Eco
mode (Fig. 4).
