Install
1.
Piston rings (onto the piston):
Install rings so that
manufacturer’s numbers or
markings face upward.
Lubricate with engine oil

Piston (1).
Install piston pin (2) through
piston wall, rod, piston wall
Install piston pin clips (3)
3.
Cylinder:
O-ring
10mm bolts
42Nm or 31 ft lbs
6mm bolts 10Nm
or 7 ft lbs
Install the cylinder with one
hand while compressing the
rings with the other hand.
Caution:
Be careful not to damage the timing
chain guide during installation. Pass
the timing chain through the timing
chain cavity.
