Oil pump operation
Look for smoothness.
Inspect the oil strainer (1)
O- ring (2)
Look for damage or contamination.
Clean with engine oil.
Measure the Oil Pump
Tip clearance (a) between the inner
rotor (1) and the outer rotor (2)
Side clearance (b) between the
outer rotor (2) and the pump
housing (3)
Body clearance (c) between
the
outer rotor (2) and the pump
housing (3)
Tip clearance Limit: 0.23 mm
Side clearance Limit: 0.17 mm
Body clearance Limit: 0.24 mm
Measure the crankshaft
Crank width (A)
Crank width 74.95 ~ 75.00 mm
Side Clearance (D)
Big end side clearance
Limit: 1.0 mm (0.0394 in)
