Attaching the Chute Attachment
DO NOT operate without shields and
guards (e.g., discharge chute, air intake guard) in
place.
To redirect airflow at a 90 degree angle during operation, a chute
attachment is included with your Jet Sweep Blower.
Pivot the blower direction lever all the way to the right, into 1.
the highest position. See Fig. 3-3.
Slide the chute attachment downward, over the opening.2.
Pivot the blower direction lever to the middle position to 3.
lock the chute attachment in place. See Fig. 3-3.
Keep hands out of inlet and discharge
openings while machine is running. There are
rotating blades inside.
Gas and Oil
Remove the fuel cap by turning it counterclockwise. Use 1.
only clean, fresh (no more than 30 days old), unleaded
gasoline. Fill the tank no higher than one inch below the
top of the filler neck to allow space for fuel expansion.
Use extreme care when handling
gasoline. Gasoline is extremely flammable and the
vapors are explosive. Never fuel the machine
indoors or while the engine is hot or running.
Extinguish cigarettes, cigars, pipes and other
sources of ignition.
Remove the oil fill cap and add the entire contents of the 2.
oil bottle packed with this manual. Refer to the Honda
Owner’s Manual for more detailed instructions.
Always check the engine oil level before
each use as instructed in the Honda Owner’s Manual.
Add oil as necessary. Failure to do so may result in
serious damage to your engine
