      Your Cub Cadet lawn mower engine might fail to start due to several reasons: * The PTO/Blade Engage knob might be engaged - place it in the disengaged (OFF) position. * The parking brake might not be engaged - engage the parking brake. * Spark plug wire(s) might be disconnected - connect the wire to the spark plug. * The throttle control lever might not be in the correct starting position - place the throttle lever to the FAST position. * The choke might not be activated - pull out the CHOKE control. * The fuel line might be blocked - clean the fuel line or replace the fuel filter. * The spark plug might be faulty - clean, adjust the gap to .040” or replace the plug. * The engine might be flooded - crank the engine with the throttle in the FAST position.
