YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OBLiGATiONS
TheCaliforniaAir ResourcesBoardand CubCadetLLCare pleasedto explainthe evaporativeemissioncontrolsystemwarrantyon your2006 lawnmower.In
California,newlawnmowermustbedesigned,built andequippedto meettheState'sstringentanti-smogstandards.Cub CadetLLCmustwarrantthe EECSon
your lawnmowerfor the periodof time listedbelowprovidedthere hasbeen noabuse,neglector impropermaintenanceofyour lawnmower.
YourEECSmayincludepartssuchasthe carburetor,fuel-injectionsystem,the ignitionsystem,catalyticconverter,fueltanks,fuel lines,fuelcaps,valves,
canisters,filters,vaporhoses,clamps,connectors,and otherassociatedemission-relatedcomponents.
Where a warrantable condition exists, Cub Cadet LLCwill repair your lawn mower at no cost toyou includingdiagnosis, partsand labor.
MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY COVERAGE:
Thisevaporativeemissioncontrolsystemis warrantedfor two years.If anyevaporativeemission-relatedparton yourequipmentis defective,the partwill be
repairedor replacedby Cub CadetLLC.
OWNER'S WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Asthe lawnmowerowner,you are responsiblefor performanceofthe requiredmaintenancelistedin yourowner'smanual. CubCadet LLCrecommendsthat you
retainall receiptscoveringmaintenanceon yourlawnmower,but CubCadetLLCcannotdeny warrantysolelyfor the lackof receipts.
Asthe lawnmowerowner,youshould howeverbeawarethat Cub CadetLLCmaydenyyouwarrantycoverageifyour lawn moweror a parthasfailed dueto
abuse,neglect,or impropermaintenanceor unapprovedmodifications.
Youare responsiblefor presentingyourlawnmowerto CubCadetLLC'sdistributioncenteror servicecenteras soonas the problemexists.Thewarrantyrepairs
shouldbe completedina reasonableamountof time_nottoexceed30 days.If youhavea questionregardingyour warrantycoverage,youshouldcontactyour

GENERAL EMISSIONS WARRANTY COVERAGE:
CubCadet LLCwarrantsto the ultimatepurchaserand eachsubsequentpurchaserthat the lawnmoweris: Designed,builtandequippedso as to conformwith all
applicableregulations;andfreefrom defectsin materialsand workmanshipthat causethe failureof a warrantedpartto beidenticalin all materialrespectstothat
partas describedin CubCadetLLC'sapplicationfor certification.
Thewarrantyperiodbeginsonthedate the lawnmowerisdeliveredto an ultimatepurchaserorfirst placedintoservice.Thewarrantyperiodistwo years.
Subjectto certainconditionsandexclusionsas statedbelow,the warrantyon emission-relatedpartsis as follows:
1. Anywarrantedpart that isnot scheduledfor replacementas requiredmaintenanceinthe writteninstructionssupplied,iswarrantedfor thewarrantyperiod
statedabove.If the partfails duringthe periodof warrantycoverage,the partwill berepairedor replacedby CubCadetLLCaccordingto subsection(4)below.
Anysuchpartrepairedor replacedunderwarrantywillbe warrantedforthe remainderofthe period.
2. Anywarrantedpartthat isscheduledonlyfor regularinspectioninthe writteninstructionssuppliediswarrantedfor thewarranty periodstated above.Anysuch
partrepairedor replacedunderwarrantywill bewarrantedfor the remainingwarrantyperiod.
3. Anywarrantedpartthat isscheduledfor replacementas requiredmaintenancein the writteninstructionssuppliedis warrantedfor the periodof timebeforethe
firstscheduledreplacementdate for that part.If the partfailsbeforethe firstscheduledreplacement,the partwillbe repairedor replacedbyCub Cadet LLCac-
cordingto subsection(4) below.Anysuchpartrepairedor replacedunderwarrantywillbe warrantedforthe remainderofthe periodpriorto thefirst scheduled
replacementpointfor the part.
4. Repairor replacementof anywarrantedpart underthe warrantyprovisionshereinmustbe performedat a warrantystationat nochargeto the owner.
5. Notwithstandingthe provisionsherein,warrantyservicesor repairswill be providedat all ofour distributioncentersthat arefranchisedto servicethe subject
enginesor equipment.
6. Thelawnmowerownerwill not bechargedfor diagnosticlabor that isdirectlyassociatedwith diagnosisof a defectke,emission-relatedwarrantedpart,
providedthat suchdiagnosticworkis performedat a warrantystation.
7. CubCadetLLCisliablefor damagesto otherengineor equipmentcomponentsproximatelycausedby afailureunder warrantyof anywarrantedpart.
8. Throughoutthe lawnmowerwarranty periodstatedabove,CubCadetLLCwill maintaina supplyofwarrantedpartssufficientto meetthe expecteddemandfor
suchparts.
9. Anyreplacementpart may beusedinthe performanceof anywarrantymaintenanceor repairsand mustbe providedwithoutchargeto the owner.Suchusewill
not reducethe warrantyobligationsofCub CadetLLC.
10.Add-onor modifiedpartsthat are notexemptedby theAir ResourcesBoardmaynot beused.Theuseofany non-exemptedadd-onor modifiedpartsby the
ultimatepurchaserwillbe groundsfor disallowinga warrantyclaims.CubCadetLLC will notbe liableto warrantfailuresof warrantedpartscausedbythe use
ofa non-exemptedadd-onor modifiedpart.
WARRANTED PARTS:
Therepairor replacementof anywarrantedpart otherwiseeligiblefor warrantycoveragemaybeexcludedfromsuchwarrantycoverageifCubCadetLLC
demonstratesthat the lawnmowerhasbeenabused,neglected,or improperlymaintained,and that suchabuse,neglect,or impropermaintenancewasthe direct
causeof the needfor repairor replacementof the part.That notwithstanding,anyadjustmentof a componentthat hasa factoryinstalled,andproperlyoperating,
adjustmentlimitingdeviceis stilleligiblefor warrantycoverage.Thefollowingemissionwarrantyparts listare covered(useportionsof this listapplicableto your
lawnmower):
