      joepinedaJul 31, 2025
If your Cub Cadet Lawn Mower engine runs erratically, consider these possibilities: * The tractor might be running with the Throttle/Choke activated. Push the Throttle/Choke control in. * Spark plug wires could be loose. Connect and tighten the spark plug wires. * The fuel line may be blocked, or the fuel could be stale. Clean the fuel line, fill the tank with clean, fresh gasoline, and replace the fuel filter. * The vent in the gas cap might be plugged. Clear the vent or replace the cap if it's damaged. * There might be water or dirt in the fuel system. Drain the fuel tank and refill it with clean, fresh gasoline. * The air cleaner could be dirty. Replace the air cleaner paper element or clean the foam precleaner.
