This document describes the CUCKOO IH Pressure Jar Cooker, model CRP-JHT10 Fuzzy Series, designed for cooking 1.8L (1-10 persons) of rice.
Function Description:
The CUCKOO IH Pressure Jar Cooker is a versatile appliance offering various cooking modes and features to ensure optimal rice preparation and maintenance. It utilizes Smart IH technology for efficient and precise cooking.
Cooking Modes:
The cooker supports both High Pressure and Non-Pressure cooking modes, selectable via the cover handle.
- High Pressure Mode: Ideal for Glutinous Rice, High Heat Glutinous Rice, Mixed Rice, High Heat Mixed Rice, Scorched Rice, Super Grain, GABA Rice, and Chicken Soup. This mode ensures sticky and nutritious rice.
- Non-Pressure Mode: Suitable for Non Pressure Glutinous Rice, Sponge Cake, Baby Food, Non Pressure Steam, and Porridge. This mode is designed for softer, non-sticky rice and other delicate dishes.
- Glutinous Rice: For sticky and nutritious rice.
- Mixed Rice: For variations of mixed or brown rice.
- GABA Rice (Brown Rice): For germinated brown rice, enhancing nutrients and digestibility. Pre-germination is recommended for 16 hours in water, with options for 0H or 3H soaking time during cooking.
- Scorched Rice: Allows users to cook rice with different levels of scorch at the bottom, according to preference.
- Super Grain: For cooking various super grains like Kamut, Oats, Chickpeas, Green Lentils, and Quinoa, which are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and dietary fiber. Soaking times can be set to 0H or 3H.
- High/None Pressure Steam: For steaming dishes under high or non-pressure. Steaming time is adjustable from 10 to 120 minutes.
- Sponge Cake: For making soft and moist sponge cake.
- Baby Food: Automatically cooks baby food.
- Turbo Glutinous Rice/Turbo Mixed Rice: Quick cooking functions for smaller quantities (less than 6 persons), reducing cooking time significantly (e.g., 13 minutes for 2 persons of glutinous rice, 26 minutes for 2 persons of mixed rice). Soaking rice for 20 minutes before turbo cooking can improve taste.
- Thick Porridge/Tin Porridge: For preparing different consistencies of porridge.
Taste Customization (My Mode):
CUCKOO's patented technology allows users to customize the degree of "softness" and "glutinosity & tastiness" of rice. This feature enables selection of "SOFT" time (up to 4 steps for softer rice) and "SWEET" time (up to 4 steps for tastier rice, which may result in melanizing). These can be selected simultaneously or separately. The cooker also allows control of heating temperature for cereals, old rice, and soft-boiled rice (high step) or new crop rice (low step).
Warming and Reheating Features:
- Warm/Reheat Button: Activates the reheat function for fresh rice in 9 minutes.
- Preset Reheating: Allows users to preset a time for reheating, ensuring a hot meal at a desired time. It takes approximately three hours for full reheating.
- Warming Temperature Control: Users can adjust the warming temperature from 69°C to 79°C to prevent odors, discoloration, or dryness/wateriness of rice.
- Sleeping Mode: Reduces warming temperature from 10:00 PM to 04:00 AM to prevent rice from becoming smelly, dry, or discolored during long periods of warming.
Preset Cooking Function:
Allows users to set a desired completion time for cooking, up to 13 hours in advance. The cooker memorizes the preset time for convenience.
