• Whentheplate(s)reachtheSEARtemperature,theLEDlightaroundtheUPPER
SEARand/orLOWERSEARbutton(s)willturngreenandwillashtentimesto
allowenoughtimetoputthefoodontheplate(s).
• After10seconds,thegreenlightwillstopashingandtheupperand/orlower
plateswillsearfor2minutes.
• Whenthesearcyclehasnished,theLEDlightaroundtheUPPERSEARand/or
LOWERSEARbutton(s)willgooffandtheunitwilladjusttothetemperature(s)
selectedonthecorrespondingtemperatureknobs.
• TocancelSEAR,presstheSEARbutton(s)again.TheLEDlight(s)willturnoff
andtheunitwilladjusttothetemperature(s)selectedonthecorresponding
temperatureknobs.
Cleaning and Care
Makesuretheplateshavecooledcompletelyforatleast30minutes.Usethe
cleaningtooltoremoveanyleftoverfoodfromtheplates.Disposeofanygrease
fromthedriptrayoncecooled.Presstheplatereleasebuttonsontherightsideof
theunittoremovetheplatesfromthehousing.Theplates,driptray,andcleaning
toolcanbecleanedbyhandoronthetopshelfofthedishwasher.Thehousingbase
andcontrolpanelcanbewipedcleanwithasoft,drycloth.
STORAGE
1. Wrap the power cord
around the cord
storage clips at the
back of the base.
2. Store clean cooking
plates and drip tray in
the unit.
