STORAGE Position

Upper plate rests flat on base, cover height adjuster locked.

PREHEAT Position

Upper plate rests flat on base, cover height adjuster unlocked.

OPEN COOKING Position

Upper plate is vertical, does not float.

CLOSED COOKING Position

For Contact Grill or Panini Press; plate floats.

FLAT COOKING Position

Upper plate lies flat, level with the lower plate.
