Why does my Cuisinart GR-150 Grill turn off by itself?

Your Cuisinart Grill might be turning off due to overheating. Allow the unit to cool down before attempting to use it again. Also, the Cuisinart Griddler® Deluxe has a safety feature that automatically shuts it off after 2 hours if no settings are changed or the unit is not turned off. To reactivate it, simply turn either dial.
