Why is the suction performance reduced on my Culina Ventilation Hood?

  If you notice a reduction in suction performance of your Culina Ventilation Hood, several factors could be the cause. First, the fan speed might be set too low; try selecting a higher speed. Also, the distance between the hood and the hob may be too great. Readjust the distance to 750mm for gas hobs or 650mm for electric hobs. Another reason might be that the aluminum grease filter is dirty, so clean the filters. Check if the top vent is obstructed and clear any obstructions. Finally, if you're using an optional vent kit, make sure it's properly fitted according to the manufacturer's instructions.
