Précautions à prendre
AVERTISSEMENT: N’utilisez pas cet appareil avec de l’eau qui contient des
microorganismes la rendant impropre à la consommation ou dont la qualité est
inconnue sans désinfection adéquate avant ou après l’appareil. Les appareils
homologués pour la filtration des parasites peuvent être utilisés sur des eaux dés-
infectées, lesquelles contiennent parfois des parasites filtrables.
ATTENTION: Le filtre doit être protégé du gel, car il risque de se fissurer et de
fuir.
REMARQUE:
Utilisation sur eau froide uniquement.
Assurez-vous que l'installation est conforme à tous les règlements provinciaux
et locaux.
Les impuretés ou autres substances filtrées ou dont la teneur est réduite par la
cartouche que vous avez choisie ne se trouvent pas nécessairement dans votre
eau. Contactez votre service des eaux municipal pour obtenir une copie de leur
analyse de l’eau ou faites analyser votre eau par un laboratoire d’analyse des
eaux réputé.
La cartouche filtrante a une durée d’utilisation limitée. Un changement du
goût, de l’odeur, de la couleur ou du débit de l’eau filtrée indique que les car-
touches doivent être remplacées.
Si l’appareil n’a pas été utilisé pendant une longue période (vacances par
exemple), il est conseillé de le rincer soigneusement avant de l’utiliser en
laissant l’eau couler pendant 5 à 6 minutes.

Precautions
WARNING: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of
unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems
certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected waters that contain filterable
cysts.
CAUTION: This filter must be protected from freezing, which can cause cracking
of the filter and water leakage.
NOTE:
For cold water use only.
Make certain that installation of this system complies with all state and local
laws and regulations.
The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water
treatment device are not necessarily in your water.
The filter cartridge has a limited service life. Changes in taste, odor, color, and
flow of the water being filtered indicate that the cartridge should be replaced.
After prolonged periods of non-use (such as during a vacation), it is
recommended that the system be flushed thoroughly. Let water run for 5
minutes before using.

The FM-15 is Tested and Certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI Std. 42
for the reduction of Taste and Odor, Chlorine, Particulate Class I. Std. 53–Lead,
Cyst, Turbidity Lindane, Atrazine, Reduction.
