Precautions
WARNING: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of
unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems
certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected waters that contain filterable
cysts.
CAUTION: This filter must be protected from freezing, which can cause cracking of
the filter and water leakage.
NOTE:
• For cold water use only.
• Make certain that installation of this system complies with all state and local
laws and regulations.
•
The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water
treatment device are not necessarily in your water.
•
The filter cartridge has a limited service life. Changes in taste, odor, color, and
flow of the water being filtered indicate that the cartridge should be replaced.
•
After prolonged periods of non-use (such as during a vacation), it is
recommended that the system be flushed thoroughly. Let water run for 5
minutes before using.

Precauciones

Installation

Remove Aerator

Remove sink faucet aerator and save gasket for adapter installation if needed.

Determine Faucet Threads

Identify faucet thread type and select the correct adapter and washer for a secure fit.

Attach Faucet Filter

Connect the filter to the faucet and tighten the swivel collar without using pliers.

Operation

Flow Filtered Water

Pull the valve stem to access filtered water; it returns to unfiltered position when water is turned off.

Flush New Cartridge

Flush new filter cartridge for 10 minutes to remove carbon fines before initial use.

Hot Water Warning

Do not filter hot water above 100°F (37.7°C) as this will damage the filter.

Dishwasher Connection Note

Unscrew aerator from filter to connect a portable dishwasher per manufacturer's instructions.

Cleaning and Replacement

Cleaning Instructions

Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid harsh chemicals and abrasives.

Replacement Cartridge

FM-15RA cartridge (01020344). Contact retailer or call 1-888-777-7962 for replacements.

Filter Cartridge Replacement

Remove Old Cartridge

Turn off faucet, unscrew filter cartridge using finger tabs, and allow it to drop.

Install New Cartridge

Insert new cartridge and turn 2.5-3 full turns until snug; check for leaks.

Flush New Cartridge (10 min)

Flush new cartridge for 10 minutes to remove carbon fines before use.

Two-Year Limited Warranty

Warranty Coverage

Covers defects in materials and workmanship for two years from purchase date (excludes replacement filter).

Return for Service

Return defective product to retailer or ship to Culligan for repair/replacement/refund.
