A PROPERLY SECURED CHILD
When your child sits properly in the booster seat, the lap and
shoulder belts MUST LIE WITHIN THE GREEN ZONE as
shown:
• The shoulder belt threaded through the belt guide and
positioned across the mid-point of your child’s chest
and shoulder, and NEVER in contact with your child’s
neck.
• The lap portion of the seat belt must be positioned low
and snug on your child’s thighs and NEVER on your
child’s abdomen.
BOTH the lap and shoulder belt must be underneath the
armrest on the side with the buckle. Pull up on the shoulder
belt to remove any slack in the belts.
If the vehicle belt does not fall within the GREEN ZONE,
adjust the Backrest to achieve proper belt t.
If you need to use a blanket in cold weather, secure your
child in the booster seat rst, and then cover both child
and booster seat with the blanket.
SECURING YOUR CHILD IN THE BOOSTER SEAT
