Profile Configuration

parity - To configure the parity. Valid values are:
none

odd

protocol - This parameter configures the protocol that will be used to connect to
the ports. Valid values are:

speed - Configure the serial port speed. Valid values are:

stopbits - This parameter configures the number of stop bits.
Valid values are: 1 and 2.

Under this menu you can configure the following parameters:
•
authbio - Configure if an AlterPath Bio authentication scanner is used.
•
banner - This parameters sets the banner that will be issued when the user connects
to the port. Strings must be entered between “” (double quotes).
•
breakinterval - To set break interval in milliseconds (ms).
•
breaksequence - To set the break sequence. Usually a character sequence, ~break
(Ctrl-b)
•
host - IP address of the device you are connecting to.
•
idletimeout - This parameter configures idle timeout in minutes.
•
portip - To configure an ip alias to the serial port.
•
sttyoptions - To configure stty parameters.
•
tcpkeepalive - To configure pool interval in milliseconds (ms).
•
tcpport - To configure socket port number. Four digit values are valid for this
parameter. Eg.: 7001.
•
terminaltype - The terminal type when using a TS profile for connecting to a host
system.
•
winems - Enables/Disables windows EMS.
