If the engine does not start or run properly, refer to the following charts to determine the cause and identify corrective actions.
If the cause cannot be determined, contact your DAEDONG dealer for assistance.

Ensure that there is fuel in the tank.

Clean the fuel system and replace fuel if water, dirt or other impurities are
present.

Check the fuel filter. Clean or replace as required.

Check and bleed air from fuel filter, injection pump and fuel lines.
!!
!!
!
Check and clean injection nozzles, being careful not to damage the orifice.
!!
!!
!
Replace injection nozzle(s) if not working properly after cleaning.

Check and adjust valve clearance when the engine is cold.

Check valves for leakage – grind valves to correct.

Check for bad valves, piston wear, ring damage or wear, or liner wear.
Have parts replaced.

In cold weather, check for thick oil. Replace with proper viscosity for
ambient temperature.

Check battery condition and cables. Service and recharge.
