Why is my Daedong 4A200 overheating?
- AAshley WheelerAug 15, 2025
If your Daedong Engine overheats, there are several potential causes. First, check the coolant level and add coolant if it's low, repairing any leaks. Inspect the fan belt for looseness or breakage, adjusting or replacing it as needed. Ensure the anti-freeze concentration is correct by adding water or replacing the coolant to achieve the proper mix. Clear any dirt and debris from the radiator core and radiator guard. Also, check the oil level and add oil if it's low, and check the fuel injection timing, adjusting it if necessary. Replacing the fuel with the clean fuel of the proper type and grade may also help. Other potential issues include a defective radiator cap or thermostat, a leaking head gasket, or unsuitable fuel.
