4WD SWITCH
CAUTION
If the hazard lamps are turned
on for an extended period of
time while the engine is stopp-
ed, the battery can be discha-
rged. Therefore, use them only
in emergency.
The hazard lamp can be oper-
ated without the key inserted.
To e nga ge t he 4 WD , p res s t he
switch up. To disengage it, return the
switch.
The 4WD function can be used un-
der the following conditions:
1. If high traction is needed in a wet
area
2. When towing a trailer or using a
loader
The 4WD (4 Wheel Driving) is to
increase traction by driving four
wheels. It is hydraulically operated
by a simple switch operation.

Operate this switch to select the
4WD (4-Wheel Drive) and QT (Quick
Turn) driving modes. Pressing its up-
per part selects the 4WD mode while
pressing its lower part selects the
quick turn mode. Each driving mode
has the following function:
SWITCH
TURNING LAMP
2WD Normal turning
Lamp OFF
4WD Normal turning
4WD
lamp ON
QT
If the steering
angle of the front
wheels is over 35
degrees during
turning, the front
wheels rotate 2
times faster than
the rear wheels
for a sharp turn.
