Take particular care when mowing near roads, cycle paths
and footpaths. Objects which are thrown up by the mower
can cause severe injury and damage.
Handling petrol
Danger to life! Petrol is poisonous and ex-tremely in ammable.
Petrol must only be stored in appropriate, tested con-tainers (canisters).
Always screw on the fuel tank and canister caps properly and tightly.
Defective caps must be replaced for safety reasons.
Keep petrol away from sparks, naked ames, pilot lights, heat sources,
and other ignition sources. Do not smoke!
Rell the tank out-of-doors and do not smoke during re lling.
Before relling the tank, stop the engine and allow it to cool.
Battery safety
Improper use of the battery and charger can re-sult in an electrical
shock or re.
When Operating
Keep battery charger dry. Avoid exposing battery pack to rain or wet
conditions.
• To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not allow
water to ow into AC plug.
• Do not short circuit; never place any object into the
battery contacts.
When Charging Battery Pack
• Charge original battery pack only with original bat-tery
charger.
• Do not use battery charger to charge generic bat-teries.
• Keep battery charger dry. Avoid exposing battery pack
to rain or wet conditions.
