Using the HOT PLATES
Before using the Hot Plate for the first time, rotate the
Hot Plate Control (4) to both Hot Plates for 5 minutes
to condition the protective coating.
You may notice a slight odour and a little smoke
during this initial heating process. This is normal and
will quickly disappear, it is the coating applied to the
heating element to prevent any corrosion during
transit.
This should be the only time the Hot Plates are operated without a cooking
utensil on them.
A pan/cooking utensil 15 - 18cm in diameter is recommended for the Large
Cooking Plate (1) and a pan/cooking utensil up to 15cm is recommended for
Small Cooking Plate (2) to achieve best results. Ensure larger pans do not
protrude beyond the edge of the Cooking Plate.
1. Place the Oven on a solid, level non-flammable surface.
2. Ensure that Timer Control (6) is in the “0” position.
3. Insert the mains plug into the mains socket.
4. Rotate the Hot Plate Control (3) to use either the Small, Large or both Hot
Plates.
5. Rotate the Timer Control (6) to set the cooking time up to 60 minutes. At the
end of the cooking time a bell will sound and the appliance will switch off.
WARNING! The use of Oven gloves is recommended whilst
handling the Grill Rack (10) and Baking Tray (11).
