5.8 REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTING CLUTCH
RELEASE ASSEMBLY/CLUTCH PLATE
Removing the automatically adjusting clutch
release assembly/clutch plate
1. Remove the gearbox.
2. If necessary, remove the thrust bearing.
3. Insert a dummy input shaft through the hub
of the clutch plate in the flywheel pilot
bearing.

4. Remove four attachment bolts distributed
around the circumference from the clutch
release assembly and replace them with
studs.
