4.5 REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT
In the course of the following
operations, oil and water will
escape from the heat exchanger
and control unit. Collect the oil and
water. Take measures to prevent the
heat exchanger from falling down.
Removing the hydraulic control unit
1. Remove the heat exchanger.
2. Remove the electrical wiring from the
proportional valve.
3. Remove the bolts attaching the control unit
to the gearbox. Leave one attachment bolt
of the oil pump in place: see illustration.
