  If your Daikin Accessories unit isn't cooling oil despite the pump and compressor running, several factors could be the cause. First, check for any obstructions near the air intake/exhaust port and remove them. Next, inspect the air filter for clogs and clean it if necessary. Also, the unit might be under capacity suppressing control due to high room temperature; compare the capacity in the operating temperature range with the catalog to see if you need a model with more appropriate capacity. Ensure that the temperature setting isn't too high by adjusting it to a more appropriate level. Finally, if the exhaust air temperature is nearly the same as the room temperature when the compressor is running, the refrigerant gas might be low, and you should refill it.

  If the compressor in your Daikin Accessories unit isn't running while the pump is, it could be due to several reasons. The compressor might be stopped under temperature control. Check if the compressor restart prevention timer has been activated and wait for the preset time to elapse. Also, the low oil temperature or low ambient temperature protection device might be activated; ensure the oil temperature is at least 5°C and the room temperature is at least 0°C. Another possibility is that the capacity setting is at 0% (Mode 9); if so, change the operation mode to an appropriate setting.

  If oil isn't flowing in your Daikin Accessories unit even when the pump is running, and the pump sound level is high, there are a few things to check. First, inspect the pump suction pipe connection for looseness; check the pipe packing and re-tighten it securely. Then, examine the suction strainer for clogs and clean it; if the oil in the tank is dirty, replace it. Also, check the oil level in the tank and refill if necessary. If there's a large pressure loss in the oil discharge pipe, causing the pump relief valve to activate, increase the oil pipe diameter and shorten the pipe length.

  If you cannot perform operation settings on your Daikin Accessories unit, there are a couple of things to check. If “---” appears on the data display, the temperature sensor corresponding to the selected operation mode might not be connected; ensure the corresponding temperature sensor is connected. If “---” momentarily appears when you press the [ENT] key, the erroneous operation prevention switch might be set to ON; turn OFF the erroneous operation prevention switch (SW1) on the control board.

  The alarm output operation in your Daikin Accessories unit might differ from conventional signal outputs because the alarm output signal connection has been partially changed. The [60] to [63] outputs are compatible with conventional models (AKS5 and AKZ6 series). However, with the AKZ8 series, signal operations and connections of the [64] and [65] outputs have been changed.

  If the pump in your Daikin Accessories unit isn't running, check the connection of the remote control input. Also, the unit might be set to the operation lock mode; cancel the LOCK mode on the control panel.

  If your Daikin Accessories unit isn't running at all and the POWER lamp on the control panel is unlit, check if the main power supply is OFF or if the power cable (L1, L2) is disconnected. Ensure the power cable is connected to the power supply terminal.
