10 seconds. The test operation starts.

operation can start as well.
Press Menu/Enter button in the basic 7-7
screen. Main menu is displayed.
In the case of a model having airfl ow 7-8
direction setting function, select
Airfl ow Direction in the main menu
and check that airfl ow direction is
actuated according to the setting.
For operation of airfl ow direction
setting, see the operation manual.
After the operation of airfl ow direction 7-9
is confi rmed, press Menu/Enter button.
Basic screen returns.
Press and hold Cancel button for 7-10
4 seconds or longer in the basic
screen.
Field setting menu is displayed.
Select 7-11 Test operation ON/OFF in the
fi eld setting menu, and press Menu/
Enter button. Basic screen returns and
normal operation is conducted.
Check the functions according to the 7-12
operation manual.
When the decorative panel is not 7-13
installed, shut off the power supply
after the test operation fi nishes.
If interior work is not completed after the ●
test operation fi nish, explain to the
customer that operation should not be
performed until the interior work comple-
tion to protect the indoor unit.
(If the operation is performed, the
indoor unit may be contaminated with
the materials which arise from paints or
adhesives during the interior work, and
water splash or water leak may occur.)
