 How to clean the drain pan
•Cleanthedrainpanperiodically,orthedrainpipingmaybecomecloggedwithdustandmayresultinwaterleakage.
Askyourdealertocleanthem.
•Prepareacoverlocallytopreventanydustintheairaroundtheindoorunitfromgettinginthedrainpan,ifthereisagreatdeal
ofdustpresent.

Checkthatthebase,standandotherfittingsoftheoutdoorunitarenotdecayedorcorroded.
Checkthatnothingblockstheairinletsandtheoutletsoftheindoorunitandtheoutdoorunit.
CheckthatthedraincomessmoothlyoutofthedrainhoseduringCOOLorDRYoperation.
•Ifnodrainwaterisseen,watermaybeleakingfromtheindoorunit.Stopoperationandconsultyourdealerifthisisthecase.
 How to clean air outlet, outside panels and remote controller
1. Clean with soft cloth.
2. When it is difcult to remove stains, use water or neutral
detergent.
 Prior to a long period of non-use
1. Operate the FAN mode for several hours on a ne day to dry out
the inside.
1) Pressthe“MODE”selectorbuttonandselect“FAN”operation.
2) Pressthe“ON/OFF”buttonandstartoperation.
2. After operation stops, turn off the circuit breaker for the room
air conditioner.
3. Clean the air lters and reattach them.

4. To prevent battery leakage, take out the batteries from the
remote controller. (Only for the wireless remote controller)
