17.4 Maintenance before a long stop period
E.g., at the end of the season.
▪ Let the indoor units run in fan only operation for about half a day in order to dry
the interior of the units. Refer to "15.2.2 About cooling, heating, fan only, and
automatic operation"[461] for details on fan only operation.
▪ Turn off the power. The user interface display disappears.
▪ Clean air filters and casings of indoor units (see "17.2.1 To clean the air
filter"[468] and "17.2.3To clean the air outlet and outside panels"[470]).
17.5 About the refrigerant
This product contains fluorinated greenhouse gases. Do NOT vent gases into the
atmosphere.

The R32 refrigerant (if applicable) in this unit is mildly flammable. Refer to the
outdoor unit specifications for the type of refrigerant to be used.

The appliance shall be stored in a room without continuously operating ignition
sources (example: open flames, an operating gas appliance or an operating electric
heater).
WARNING
▪ Do NOT pierce or burn refrigerant cycle parts.
▪ Do NOT use cleaning materials or means to accelerate the defrosting process
other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
▪ Be aware that the refrigerant inside the system is odourless.
