1.9 Forced Thermostat OFF
Outline The unit will perform the forced thermostat off function in following conditions:
Condition 1
(cooling)
Thermostat off due to freeze-up prevention.
Prevent the indoor unit heat exchanger from freezing in cooling operation when one of the below
conditions is applicable:
Q Indoor unit heat exchanger temperature < -5°C for 1 minute continuously.
Q Indoor unit heat exchanger temperature < -1°C for 40 minutes accumulated.
Condition 2
(heating)
Thermostat off due to high outdoor temperature.
When the outside temperature is > 30°CDB in heating mode, the unit will conduct a forced thermostat
off operation to protect the system.
