The Daikin R32 Split Series air conditioner is designed to provide year-round comfort through various operation modes: AUTO, COOL, DRY, HEAT, and FAN ONLY. The AUTO mode automatically selects the appropriate operation (COOL or HEAT) based on the indoor temperature, adjusting settings at regular intervals to maintain the desired comfort level. In COOL mode, the unit lowers the temperature, while in HEAT mode, it raises it. The DRY mode is specifically designed to eliminate humidity while maintaining the indoor temperature as much as possible, automatically controlling temperature and airflow. FAN ONLY mode circulates air within the room without heating or cooling.
The unit features an INVERTER technology, which contributes to energy efficiency and consistent comfort. It also includes a COMFORT AIRFLOW function that adjusts the airflow direction to prevent cold or warm air from blowing directly on occupants. In COOL operation, the airflow is directed upward, and in HEAT operation, it is directed downward. The POWERFUL operation quickly maximizes the cooling or heating effect for 20 minutes, operating the unit at its maximum capacity before returning to previous settings. The ECONO function enables efficient operation by limiting maximum power consumption, which is useful when multiple electrical devices are used simultaneously on a shared circuit, helping to prevent circuit breaker trips.
The unit also incorporates TIMER functions, allowing users to automatically switch the unit on or off at night or in the morning. Both ON TIMER and OFF TIMER can be used together, with settings ranging from 1 to 12 hours. A NIGHT SET mode is available with the OFF TIMER, which automatically adjusts the temperature setting (0.5°C up in COOL, 2.0°C down in HEAT) to prevent excessive cooling or heating during sleep.

Airflow Direction Adjustment: The SWING button initiates an up and down auto-swing of the flap (horizontal blade). Pressing the SWING button again stops the flap at the desired position. For vertical airflow adjustment, the louvers (vertical blades) can be manually moved by holding the knobs located in two places inside the air outlet.
Special Functions:
Remote Controller Setup: To use the remote controller, batteries (2 AAA.LR03 alkaline) must be inserted. The remote controller can be fixed to a wall using the supplied holder. The temperature display can be switched between Fahrenheit and Celsius by simultaneously pressing the TEMP °F/°C and ON (TIMER button) for about 5 seconds.

Air Filter Cleaning: The air filters should be cleaned every 2 weeks. To do this, open the front panel, pull out the air filters, and wash them with water or clean them with a vacuum cleaner. If dust is stubborn, use a neutral detergent thinned with lukewarm water, then dry them in the shade. Reattach the filters and close the front panel securely.
Titanium Apatite Deodorizing Filter Maintenance: This filter should be cleaned every 6 months and replaced every 3 years. To clean, remove the filter from its tabs, vacuum dust, and soak it in lukewarm water for 10-15 minutes if very dirty. After washing, shake off excess water and let it dry in the shade. When replacing, dispose of the old filter as non-flammable waste and insert a new one, ensuring it is properly set in the tabs.
General Cleaning: The front panel, indoor unit, outdoor unit, and remote controller can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth. Only neutral detergent should be used for the front panel if it is dirty. Avoid using water hotter than 40°C, volatile liquids (like benzene, petrol, thinner), polishing compounds, or rough scrubbing brushes.
Long Periods of Non-Use: Before extended periods of non-use (e.g., spring or autumn), operate the unit in FAN ONLY mode for several hours to dry out the inside. After operation stops, turn off the circuit breaker for the room unit and remove the batteries from the remote controller.
Periodical Maintenance: Periodical maintenance by a qualified contractor is recommended, especially if the unit's interior becomes foul after several seasons, leading to poor performance.
