Why is my Daitsu DS-18UIAK indoor unit not blowing air?
    • K
      Kimberly HebertSep 7, 2025
If your Daitsu Air Conditioner indoor unit is not blowing air in HEAT mode, it may be because the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger is very low, which stops airflow to prevent cold air for up to 2 minutes. Also, in HEAT mode, frost may form on the outdoor heat exchanger when the outdoor temperature is low or humidity is high. The unit will defrost automatically, and the indoor unit will stop blowing air for 3-12 minutes. During defrosting, water or vapour may be emitted. In DRY mode, the indoor fan may stop blowing air for 3-12 minutes to prevent condensate from being vaporized again.

Why Daitsu Air Conditioner indoor unit can not blow air?
    • J
      Joanne WilliamsAug 31, 2025
If the indoor unit of your Daitsu Air Conditioner isn't blowing air, it could be due to the following reasons: In HEAT mode, airflow stops temporarily to prevent cold air when the indoor heat exchanger temperature is very low (within 2 minutes). Also in HEAT mode, if the outdoor temperature is low or humidity is high, frost may form on the outdoor heat exchanger, causing the unit to defrost automatically and stop airflow for 3-12 minutes. During defrosting, water or vapor may be emitted. In DRY mode, the fan may stop for 3-12 minutes to prevent condensate vaporization.

Why is my Daitsu Air Conditioner outdoor unit leaking water?
    • T
      Thomas DrakeAug 30, 2025
Water leakage from the outdoor unit of your Daitsu Air Conditioner can occur during cooling operation due to condensate around pipes and joints. It can also happen during defrosting as thaw water flows out or during heating when water drips from the heat exchanger.

Why is my Daitsu DS-18UIAK indoor unit making noise?
