LIMITED AIR CONDITIONER WARRANTY
Thisqualityproductiswarrantedtobefreefrommanufacturer'sdefectsinmaterialandworkmanship,providedthattheunitisusedunderthenormaloperating
conditionsintendedbythemanufacturer.
ThiswarrantyisavailableonlytothepersontowhomtheunitwasoriginallysoldbyDanbyorbyanauthorizeddistributorofUanby,andisnon-transferabIe.
TERMSOFWARRANTY
FirstYear Duringthefirstyear(1),anyelectricalpartsofthisproductfoundtobedefective,includinganysealedsystemunits,willberepairedor
repIaced,atwarrantor'soption,atnochargetotheORIGINALpurchaser.
SecondThrough Duringthenextfouryears(4)anypartofthesealedsystemfoundtobedefective(consistingofcompressor,condenser,evaporator,
FifthYear dryerandallrelatedtubing)willbereplacedwithoutcharge.Thepurchasershallpayforalllaborandreturnfreightduringthisfouryear
(4)periodforrepairorreplacementofanysealedsystemcomponents.Anyunitbeingdiagnosedasnon-functionalduetosealedsys-
temfailureandwarrantinganexchangeduringtheexistingfour(4)yearswillbesubjecttoanappropriatedepreciationoruserfee
includinganyandallfreightchargesbeingleviedagainsttheconsumer.
Toobtain Contactyourdealerfromwhomyourunitwaspurchased,orcontactyournearestauthorizedUanbyservicedepot,whereservice
Service mustbeperformedbyaqualifiedservicetechnician,ifserviceisperformedontheunitsbyanyoneotherthananauthorizedservice
depot,ortheunitisusedforcommercialapplication,allobligationsof Danbyunderthiswarrantyshallbeatanend.
EXCLUSIONS
Saveashereinprovided,DanbyProductsLimited(Canada)orDanbyProductsInc.(U.S.A.),therearenootherwarranties,conditions,representationsorguar-
antees,expressorimpIied,madeorintendedbyDanbyProductsLimitedoritsauthorizeddistributorsandallotherwarranties,conditions,representationsor
guarantees,includinganywarranties,conditions,representationsorguaranteesunderanySaleofGoodsActorlikelegislationorstatueisherebyexpressly
excluded.Saveashereinprovided,DanbyProductsLimited(Canada)orDanbyProductsInc.(U.S.A),shallnotberesponsibleforanydamagesto personsor
property,includingtheunititself,howsoevercausedoranyconsequentialdamagesarisingfromthemalfunctionoftheunitandbythepurchaseoftheunit,the
purchaserdoesherebyagreetoindemnifyandsaveharmlessDanbyProductsLimitedfromanyclaimfordamagestopersonsorpropertycausedbytheunit.
GENERALPROVISIONS
Nowarrantyorinsurancehereincontainedorsetoutshallapplywhendamageorrepairiscausedbyanyofthefollowing:
1) PowerFailure.
2) Damageintransitorwhenmovingtheappliance.
3) Improperpowersupplysuchaslowvoltage,defectivehousewiringorinadequatefuses,
4) Accident,alteration,abuseormisuseoftheappliancesuchasinadequateaircirculationintheroomorabnormaloperatingconditions,
(extremelyhighorIowroomtemperature),
5) Useforcommercialorindustrialpurposes.
6) Fire,waterdamage,theft,war,riot,hostility,actsofGodsuchashurricanes,floodsetc.
7) ServicecaiIsresultingincustomereducation.
Proofofpurchasedatewillberequiredforwarrantyclaims;so,pleaseretainbillsofsale.Intheeventwarrantyserviceisrequired,presentthisdocumenttoour
